This really belongs in the Port & Madeira Marketplace section, but I still thank you for posting.
In for 3. Maybe I should have bought 4 or 6, but I'd like to see more notes. I'm going based on my experience with the 2007, with an expectation that this will be even better, which would suggest getting more. Then again, this is a label that pops up at odd places for a reasonable price now and then, so I settle with 3.

Re: Port at Cinderella Wine
Thanks Eric,
Moved now. Yesterday I wasn't online much at all. A forest fire started near me, and where my aunt, cousin, and her kids live. I had to go help them evacuate as the fire came within 30 yards of burning down both their houses. Thankfully the wind shifted, the firemen and aircraft arrived, to keep the flames at bay. A pretty wild day for sure and one I hope to never repeat. One of the scariest things I've had to do, watching the flames come so close to burning down their houses was gut wrenching.

Re: Port at Cinderella Wine
Glad everybody and everything is okay, Andy.
Re: Port at Cinderella Wine
Wow, Andy! Great to hear things shifted and everyone in your family is OK.
I can see the smoke off in the distance from our window, and we're praying for everyone affected and also to the firefighters working overtime to contain it!
Can't imagine what you (or your family!) went through!
Best of luck in the recovery for everyone.

Re: Port at Cinderella Wine
Thanks guys.
Relatives were allowed back in last night. However, the firemen had a truck parked in each of their driveways all night to watch the houses in case it flared back up. This morning they surveyed the damage. Houses were fine, thankfully. The fire ended up burning more than originally thought, all the way to my aunts back yard fence which is against the hillside/national forest. So between 10-15 feet from the main house
Firemen did a great job of keeping the houses safe. My cousins house next door was basically the same.
The photo is my aunts house, anyone local you probably saw a lot of it on the news as the fire got closer to the house. The fire burned all the way down to the fence you see in the picture (next to the front of the fire truck). Some very thankful souls here for sure!
Sorry for the slight thread highjack.

Yes, I was following the coverage very closely. As one who has battled wildfires on a number of occasions, I know how quickly these fires can move and how destructive they can be. I'm glad that all is well with your family. They were very lucky to emerge unscathed!

Even up in Humboldt, it's been bone dry this winter, were sitting at just under 10% of our usual precip for this time of the season. This unfortunately is not boding well for the 2014 California fire season. Glad to hear they were able to save your family's place. I fear we could be in for a lot more fire scares this year.

Fires are scary... glad all are well Andy.

It hasn't rained here in over a week. In January that happens like ... never!
