Ferreira 10 year tawny - Fantastic, can a 10 year tawny taste any better?

Vista Alegre 10 year tawny.
Like the flavor but it is pretty shallow, not much past the initial (good) impression.

Very few, if any, are as good as this. My reference for 10 year old Tawny.

Wow, that's a rare one. Have only had once or twice, great port. Did you like it? Ramos is good on the details like the hay liners around the bottles.

I found it to be very powerful, multi-layered and a bit more complex than most Ramos Pinto VPs i've tasted. Although a tad sweet, I really enjoyed it and was quite impressed by the overall balance. Hard to find, but well worth it!

We had a bottle of 1994 Croft Vintage at a restaurant last night. Have a 1963 or 1966 Croft planned for this afternoon. Actually, I need to go decant it soon.

It's been settled, just decanted a 1966 Croft for this afternoon. The first sip is amazing, may be better the '63. Will need to have them side by side at some point. I thought I kept some Croft '63 in Boston, but the case I opened was split between '66 Graham and '66 Croft... Oh well...
