I've given up cycling here in Oman. I tried for a while, but stopped during ramadan, when it was blazing hot and we weren't allowed to drink anything on the bike. That didn't feel good. I never got back to it because I didn't like the safety on the road (people really don't know how to react to cyclists here) and because there is construction work going on everywhere which resulted in having to repair tyres 2-3 times a ride. I guess I just have to enjoy my beautiful bike when I move back to the Netherlands.
