There was a discount over the week end at SAQ, bought a Taylor Single Harvest 1966. A rare occasion that we see the monopoly selling it on market average.

My 10 bottles of the Duque arrived on Friday. It turns out these were bottled in 1996—not ideal, but a 20 year old, bottled 20 years ago, for $20 each still seems like a good deal to me. The back label shows Broadbent imported them.

1967 Hooper VP. An odd one that I've never seen a note on so how could I pass it up for only $60 :)

Good price for a daily drinker, even if they are older bottlings.

You didn't want a '67 Hooper LBV instead?? (Assuming you were looking at winebid)

Figured I had a better shot of it still being drinkable if it was a VP and not an LBV.

I was mostly teasing, but a '67 LBV would be a heck of an oddball bottle for a tasting. That said, the lasting impression I have of Hoopers is the one from the '85 tasting and the very VA affected one I opened a couple months later.

A 2011 Quevedo LBV.
This is the best LBV I have tasted of the 2011 class.

2x 1996 Sao Pedro Das Aguias Vintage Port, @ $23.40 each.
Bought one a few weeks ago and thought it was worth the price, so I went back for a few more.
