You had it on 1 Mar 2014, at your house; but it was a corked bottle, so maybe that doesn't count.

I opened my last of a large auction lot of Ferreira Duque de Bragança 20 Year Old Tawny. This one is showing very nicely despite a fair bit of bottle age.
Must have been traumatized and blocked that horrible corked bottle experience from my brain HAHAHAHA.

The wines were so close in color, style and taste. I was expecting the Cockburn to be richer style, but they were hard to tell apart! Only the slightest of margin went to the Croft.

1977 Fonseca, opened by Glenn, an excellent bottle which showed a great example of this VP.

Tonight in the decanter: 1977 Taylor.

2000 Quinta Venotzelo LBV.

This LBV rocks and is in a perfect place right now. Tastes like mature ready to drink ruby. Can't find any fault with this port and it took 2 days open to really shine. Great port & $120 a case of 12. Each bottle comes in its own gift box.

For post Christmas dinner, I opened a Dow '63 and a Graham '60. They both sat in the decanter for about 3.5 hours before we had them with a bourbon chocolate pecan pie. Both were good but the Dow was a little bit smoother then the Graham which was a little more fragrant on the nose, but slightly more alcoholic on the finish.

on Christmas eve, I opened up a 1963 Avery's VP, it seemed a tiny bit corked. Yesterday, after Christmas dinner, we had a 1995 Kopke VP, and later on the evening I returned to the 1963, which seemed to have improved a bit (still not a great showing but quite enjoyable).

Sandeman 20 year Tawny bottled in 2001. Bought and opened as an experiment. Nowhere near as good as a fresh recent bottling.

Visiting my parents for the week. Apparently I’ve been rubbing off on Mom, I discovered a few LBV’s in the liquor cabinet. I took the liberty of decanting a 2011 Crasto LBV for her, enjoying it now. :)
