Some Port you can't purchase, you need to receive them as gift. Friday, I received a magnum of 20 year old Niepoort memorium for Rolf, a very pretty bottle! The kind I'll never want to open.

I've bid and won a lot over the past few weeks. Here's my winnings:

1 x 1977 Fonseca VP
1 x 1980 Borges VP
1 x 1983 Graham's VP
1 x 1985 Graham's VP
2 x 1991 Martinez VP
1 x 1982 Pocas Colheita
2 x 1983 Messias Quinta do Cachao SQVP
1 x 1988 Sandeman Vau Vintage
1 x 1992 Fonseca VP
2 x 2000 Gould Campbell VP
1 x 2000 Smith Woodhouse VP
1 x 2011 Warre's VP
1 x 2016 Quinta do Vesuvio Capela SQVP
4 x 1994 Fonseca VP
1 x 30 year old Niepoort Tawny (I over paid for this, but I never see it around and wanted to try it)

I also went to the Ironbound section of Newark yesterday to visit a few Portuguese liquor stores and bought the following:

2 x 1994 Dow LBV (I had one a few months back and really liked it)
1 x 1999 Jose Maria Da Fonseca & Van Zeller LBV
1 x 1999 Churchill LBV
1 x 1992 Taylor's LBV
1 x 1996 Calem Quinta Da Foz SQVP
1 x 1995 Taylor's Quinta De Vargellas SQVP
1 x 2003 Calem VP
1 x 1983 Calem Colheita
1 x Dalva 40 year old Dry White Port

2 x S. Leonardo 30 year old White (picked this up in a Pennsylvania state owned liquor store)

Lots of Port I know, but I retire in a few years and my Port buying will drop significantly. I'm building up my cellar for retirement.

3 x 2002 Warres LBV
1 x Pocas 30 Year
1 x Pocas 20 Year
1 x 1992 Pocas Colheita (b.2017)
2 x 1994 Smith Woodhouse

I think the Pocas 20, 30 and Colheita would make a fun tasting

I have an '82 and '97 Pocas Colheita I could add to the tasting. I also saw a Pocas 10 y.o. yesterday but didn't pick it up. I'd love to find a 40 y.o. at a reasonable price.

1977 Smith Woodhouse in magnum

I think this gives me 19 magnums now? I have 1977 (8), 1985 (2), 1994 (3), 1995 (1), and 2003 (5). I might be missing 1 or 2 in my mental inventory. Then I have 8 Tappit Hens and 1 Imperial, but those are all too young to drink and will probably never be mature in my lifetime. Someone is going to get a nice inheritance... I just don't know who because we don't have any kids!

So when we have our magnum party, I can fill in a 1992 and 1997, and have a few others from some of the years you mention. I don't own an imperial (yikes!), but I do have a double magnum that probably won't be ready in my lifetime as well.

I "found" another one... I have a 1997 Quinta do Crasto, too, for a total of 20. And something tickling at the back of my head says that I should have one or two magnums of 2011 Quevedo, but I can't think of where they'd be in my storage.

I did? I didn't notice that there were other bids when I put mine in. It was a good price!

Maybe I'll get to share it with you at a tasting!

Lol. No problem at all Glenn. I got plenty of stuff from that auction. I'll have to put a list up, but I was happy to snag an older Calem to try (1970) and my first 1994 Quinta do Noval.
