i don't want to clutter this thread, is there one discussing how to write a TN for newbies? i know there are guidelines, but i want a thread so i can ask questions and get feedback. for instance, the idea of scoring a port terrifies me.

I haven't seen one. You should totally make one in the Port Basic forum. I think many great points and suggestions could come from such a topic to benefit but the newbies (like me) and the old-timers.

I can't tell how much i score a port because i have my own "score standart". At the start (about 7 years ago) i thought that the variability of scores (WA,WS, etc.) were too tiny. So i made my own standart.
My scores are between 75 and 95 (my lowest is 67 and the highest is 97). 86 could be compare to 90. I don't want to confuse nobody unless your familiar with my scores...
