Roy,
will the new bottling have Terrantez as part of the blend?

Not positive, but I told Ricardo that I was much more of a fan of the first bottling with more Terrantez (obviously) than the 2nd blend which was just a'ight, imo.

I don't think the second bottling had any Terrantez. The first had about 20% of Barbeito's Reserve Terrantez if I remember correctly.

Great value.

My big order from RWC arrived today, so I opened a 1989 D'Oliveiras Malvasia to see what it's like.
Very nice. Nothing like the oldies that introduced me to Madeira, but good in its own way. Glad I bought 3, as this will make a really good "standard" Madeira for me.

NV H&H 10-year boal
NV H&H 15-year verdelho
NV H&H 20-year malvasia
The 15-year verdelho has been the best overall, so far. I'll get some of the 20-year verdelho pretty soon. Has anyone tried it?

Love the 1983 MEF. A richer style for them.

NV Broadbent Terrantez Old Reserve (produced and bottled by Justino Henriques)
NV Henriques & Henriques 20 Years Old Terrantez
No bottling date on either bottle.
Back in 2006 I purchased from Patrick Grubb a bottle of Justino Henriques 10 year old Terrantez bottled in 2000. I drank it the same time as a bottle of the Broadbent Old Reserve. I remember preferring the Justino Henriques to the Broadbent. Does anyone know if they were different blends?

My last night in Porto before heading to Lisbon for our Five Regions Tour, slurping on a 1999 Barbeito Tinta Negra. Not quite as good as the several 1929 Tinta Negra I had last week, but this is a really fun young one to sip on. Glad I have a handful of these in my cellar, as soon it will be a Frasqueira and the price will be much higher.
