I opened a 30 yr S.Leonardo yesterday unfortunately it was turning.

1977 Delaforce VP that I had noticed signs of past seepage. Was more mature than normal but still a pleasant bottle.

30yr Leonardo bottled in 2015 part of earlier S. Leonardo purchase.Tasted unpleasant, very sharp and acidic and very different from my earlier bottles.

Hmm. I think I just (last month) opened a 40 from this batch which was doing just fine. I still have one 30 and one 40 from the 2015 purchase.

I do have a couple 40 yr bottled in 2011 that are now getting long in the tooth. They will be consumed by summer, is the plan anyways.

The 1983 was slightly flawed, otherwise an excellent tasting. 1997 needs more cellar time. WOTN was the 95 Madelena

Opened a bottle of Cockburn 1967 for the weekend; absolutely delicious mature Port.
