This is what my supplier has been delivering lately in place of the Duque de Bragança 20. Is it the same tawny? It seems very like it but the normal bottle variability makes it hard to be certain. I just opened a bottle of DdB20 bottled in 2018 and it seemed a bit tired (but, as I said, bottle variability).
All my wine is in storage (I’m between houses, living in an 800 sqft apartment) so I’m buying daily drinkers in small quantities.

How is that 2017 Sandeman? I've been curious about trying it.

Hi there, Mike!
The 2017 Sandeman is staggeringly beautiful. It is so powerful at this point that, I suppose, I should be put into "Port Prison." It paired wonderfully with80% dark chocolate and Stilton. I told my wife that I wish I could buy two cases of it. I also told her that I wish I could taste this amazing wine at the 15-year mark and the 35-year mark now! Ha, ha.
Cheers!
Jonathan

Thanks for the reply Jonathan. It sounds like it's a great Port. I think I'm going to have to buy a few bottles online, try one and lay the other one down for about 15 years.

Well said, Bert! I am pouring my Ports, taking in fine chocolate, and reveling in fine cheese now more than ever it seems. Here's to health! Here's to life!

The cork looked good from the top, but with a standard wing corkscrew, the bottom 1/4" to 3/8" of the cork broke off and remained in the bottle. To my pleasant surprise, I was able to remove this small piece with the Durand.
