Very dark red colour, nearly black. Cool, delicious aroma of dark berries, some vanilla and touch of wood. Powerful, smooth / elegant, balanced, a lot of "the Douro-taste", medium length in the finish. A very pleasant Douro red wine, and I would like to buy more if I can find the wine. Looking forward to go up one step, to the real Pintas. 92 pts
