Mannie told me this was coming out in our conversation last month. I am looking forward to trying it. Thanks for sharing Marco!

If I recall correctly, this is a fund-raising bottling (much like the New Orleans Special Reserve was). It is a Bual style blend, with some old Tinta Negra Mole. It should be priced around the same as the New Orleans bottlings was.

Anyone know when it'll be released? I missed the first New Orleans release to my everlasting regret.

It's available now as a pre-arrival. It's in the RWC price list - $59.95

Give them a call and see when it's due in. Manny has been showing it on the east coast.

Has anyone else tasted this yet?

Not tasted yet, but the Rare Wine Co folks say the wines will probably be available in April.

Eric,
Next time we get together, if you will remind me, I'd be happy to open one of my last bottles of the original N.O. "Terrantez" for you.

Thanks Roy! I've managed to try it a few times, it is impressive. I just don't have any bottles myself.

Met Ricardo Freitas yesterday at the anual Hamburg IVBAM tasting, asked him about the new Benjamin Franklin wine and he told me "it's a crazy blend made from TNM, Verdelho, Boal and Malmsey", sounds like a unique blend to me.
