That price does not seem so great--about as low as I've seen it ($16.99 actually, +7% tax for $18.18), but I have seen it. Thanks for posting!!

Today is "Top 100 Tuesday" - they're offering various wines that were in the Wine Spectator Top 100 for 2011 all day today. They come and go very quickly, though, so you really either need to check the website constantly or download their Android/iPhone app and let it beep at you every time the wine changes.

Sadly I was in the shower when the Fonseca showed up so I missed it. $17.49 is excellent here in WA where we have high alcohol tariffs, especially since there's no sales tax and no shipping.

John, I only wish I had NJ level access to all things Portugal. Don't ever take it for granted.

I don't know if I've ever seen the 2005 Fonseca LBV in Chicago before. I can find the 2003 Taylor LBV, but that's only because I've scoured nearly every shop with 10 miles of me and have a decent idea of who carries what and at what price.

I forgot not all of us are so fortunate in out Port chances, I didn't say it was a bad price--sometimes WTSO has better offers than others relative to what you can find elsewhere--and I'm glad you got some to try. Maybe you need to come to NJ/NY for a visit--I can show you some of my store gems.

As for Glenn, I think he'll be taking his phone with him into the shower now!
