Hi,
My 90 minute documentary Life on the Douro, about 300 years of history of the region, will be showing at the Roxy Bar and Screen, 128-132 Borough High Street, London SE1 1LB, on April 23, followed by a tasting of wines from at least five wineries - Symington Family Estates, Niepoort, Taylor Fladgate, Quinta do Vale D. Maria, and Quevedo. I'll be there to answer questions about the film, and winery and importer reps will be on hand to talk about the wine. More details here - http://lifeonthedouro.com/?p=56 and tickets can be purchased here -

Life on the Douro was filmed during 45 days over five trips in an 18 month period, and I'm going back on my second For the Love of Port tour in order to expand it into a 6 part series for television. It is (I'm told) about a comprehensive overview of the history and culture of the region as a film can be. It will be showing in NYC on May 17 as well. And if you can't make it, DVD's are available here http://lifeonthedouro.com/?page_id=20
Hope to see you there.
