Madeira tasting with Chris Blandy, March 5th, Long Beach CA

"Chris Blandy, seventh generation of an historic family of fine wine producers from the island of Madeira, will lead a seminar and tasting of Blandy’s Madeira at The Wine Country in a rare Tuesday night event March 5 at 7:30 p.m. Cost is only $25 per person. Seating is limited; reservations will be made first-come, first-served."

I've been in touch with Chris last week several times and although me mentioned hitting CA, he did not even tell me about this tasting. However, I will be heading to the other coast for a different tasting. Bad timing on my part ... but also on his. [shrug.gif] Chris is a great guy and if you all can make that tasting, you really should go out of your way to be there. I've done tastings with Chris in NYC and in CA (and Portugal of course) and he is a lot of fun!

Would love to go, but there's no way, unfortunately. If he does another in San Francisco some time, that might work out.
