For The Love Of Port

WTSO Platinum is an invitation-only sub-service of WTSO, so I don't know how many of you have access, but it has the 2003 Broadbent Vintage Port available right now for $22.99. I'm going to pick up 4 even though I have no place to store them because at that price I can drink 'em as if they were LBVs!

Didn't know they had a Platinum membership, apparently it is by invitation only. I have bought enough from them I should have been invited.

I have no idea how I got invited. I did send them a question asking about Platinum when I first heard about it but I never got a response. Then a month or two later I received an invite.

Nice Port, the first really fine Broadbent VP, imo. The earlier versions did not achieve this level. At that price, wowowowow!

Glenn, does the platinum account send out alerts like the regular wtso account when wines are being offered?

Yes it's a separate iPhone app you have to download (and/or twitter if you have an account) that sends out a separate alert with the Platinum heading so you know it's not the normal alert.

Thanks, I found a Google / Android app as well. Already got a notification within the past hour.

I have the android app but turned notifications off. I use twitter to get the feed because it seems to be more prompt than the app notifications.
