Tasted at a wine store tasting. Medium amber color. Orange peel, cognac nose with distinct waxy component. Verdelho sweetness. Lemon, orange flavors predominate with good depth. Excellent acidity and length. 17/20. Friends and I preferred this to 1976 Blandy's Terrantez served at same tasting. The latter wine had more complexity and the same 17/20 score, but the finish was marred by a bitter component. We all preferred the 20 Year Old bottling. Needless to say, Chris Blandy preferred the 1976.

Actually, that sounds rather expensive. I'd have thought that $50-ish would have been the going retail.

Really? I thought that was pretty decent after paying $90 for a 750ml of Henriques & Henriques. Seems right in line.

Hi guys,
I'm paying EUR 46 for this one which is roughly USD 60. Think it has an elegance I'm happy to pay for. Quite different from the H&H 20 YO Terrantez and now when I've had them both on several occasions I'm leaning towards the Blandy's.
