Douro Table Wine TN Database

Ok so it is not huge, but I just finished sending off sixty (60) .. "dbase ready" tasting notes on Douro whites and reds. It is a start. I have another 25+ from the 2006 Harvest Tour which will be featured in the next 3 issues of the newsletter. Progress is good! :o

I've been rummaging through the Port TN's in my spare time, some good notes on stuff you don't see often, or at all, here in the states

Andy,

There are currently about 650 TNs on Port and I am pretty sure that I'll hit 1,000 by the end of 2007 which is only about 30 per issue of the newsletter. That is not hard to top. :roll:

Now that you've recovered, how about getting those Madeira TN's posted :wink: :roll:

Seriously, I like that they are separated into red and white categories. But, is there a way to put the "name" of the dry wines after the producer. As it is now, you have to open each TN to figure out what the wines name is. A bit time consuming and frustrating.

I am way ahead of you and asked Stewart about this already.

BTW, the Madeira TNs are loaded and up to date with the exception of the recent Seattle tasting and upcoming NYC Madeira tasting.

In addition to tasting in Seattle and NY, there will also be a tasting in DC, not to mention the one last month in Connecticut too. By the end of March, I'll have nearly 60 new Vintage Madeira TNs that will be headed for the database. Transcribing them onto the puter and into articles is the hard part! :roll:
