2.5 hrs decanting. Some sediments. Dark red colour with a brown touch. Heavy of “old Douro”, terroir/minerals, oak, berries and some flowers. Recognising nfluence by the Bordeaux wine maker. Full body. Powerful and elegant in a nice combination. Taste of minerals and berries. Strong tannins, but not awkward. Long aftertaste. A good Chryseia from the early (and criticized) vintages. 93 pts.
