1995 Kopke Colheita Port

Popped and poured. Bottled in 2015. Oddly very light in both color and palate. The color was light orange. Very smooth on the palate without any real alcohol heat. Good sweetness that allowed for pairing with a dessert (we did brownies) without the wine overpowering the dessert. As essentially a 20-year tawny port, it doesn't stand up well against 20-year tawny vintage blends such as Fonseca, Graham, or Warre, but still costs the same. (89 pts.)
