Quevedo Reserve Lágrima Port (bottled 2022)

Day 19 of the 2022 Quevedo Prestige Advent Calendar

Color: light golden honey with a slight orange tint. Looks very much like a White Port.

Nose: plantain? Sweet pineapple, white peach or nectarine, maybe some mango, faint black tea, maybe white tea?, pound cake.

Palate: honey, some sharpness, yellow cake, nilla wafers, generically tropical fruits. Nicely balanced acidity. Slightly prominent alcohol. Not very complex, but quite tasty.

Score: 91 points. It's maybe not actually that "good" of a Port in some theoretical sense, but it really suits me.
