Quevedo 30 Year Old White Port Claudia's Blend (bottled 2022)

Day 22 of the 2022 Quevedo Prestige Advent Calendar

I asked, and Oscar confirmed that Claudia's Blend is the same as the retail blend seeing as she is the winemaker.

Color: medium tawny, some light brown, very faint pink tint at the rim. Darkest of the 4.

Nose: nutty - pecans, dusty, faint caramel, faint cider vinegar.

Palate: off dry. Darker flavors including some torrefaction. Something like espresso but not coffee flavored just the burny bitter part. More depth and complexity than Jr's Blend, but less tasty for my palate.

Score: 85 points. I'd might finish my glass but probably wouldn't accept another if offered. Probably an excellent Port but really very much not my style.
