Yes, took them long enough. But it is open and so far, rave reviews from friends.

Looks like it. The presentation is better though. It is not yet fully completed but they must have invested a lot of money to restore this building the way it is.

I finally made it in there. I love the place. They did such a nice job with the reno. They have a museum type area, a full bottle shop, a small classroom area and an amazing reception area with Enomatic machines. They rotate through bottles but you have the opportunity to taste really old and special stuff.
I tasted a Ferreira 1960 VP, which was amazing and a 40 year old Sandeman Tawny. Also a Dalva 67 Colheita and a Dalva 71 white Colheita. They had a more offerings including Douro DOC wines and other wines.

had an 1830 Ferreira Garrafeira, and a Constantino 1904 vintage, but even the tiniest pours was outside of my budget.
