TN: 2004 Rio Bom Douro Cuvée Mário Braga Grande Reserva

Tasted blind. Like the first red wine tasted (2019 António Madeira Tinto), this has some spicy dried leaf aromas, but this is more like eucalyptus; along with some deep dark fruit. The flavor is big and monstrous. Lots of tannins, with more fruity aromas later. I didn’t score this at the time, but subsequently bought some bottles as I was suitably impressed.
