Anyone heard of Morgado?

I was at Trader Joe's this evening and made a dubious purchase of a couple of bottles of 1987 Morgado Vintage Port for $9.99 each. I googled it and all that came up was a similar question from someone who didn't appear to get his question answered completely. I do see an entry in CellarTracker saying drink between 2007 and 2012, but no tasting notes.

The label says it was bottled by Forrester in Vila Nova de Gaia in 1990, but doesn't say who the manufacturer is. From the one hit that came back on google, someone said that Morgado was not the name of the company, but that's all that's on the label. I can provide a picture of the label if it would help identify it.

Thanks!

Mike.

I've never had heard about Morgado Ports before and must confess I do not know anything about it. :!:
However, my first guess is Forrester Ports are related to Offley Port Wine, a brand that belongs to the Sogrape Group, which also owns Ferreira and Sandeman.

Forrester & Co. is indeed the company that bottles Offley Port. Morgado is used a kind of second label / supermarket brand.
Confusingly, I've also seen bottles of the Morgado '87 VP labels with "bottled by Hunt, Constantino". This company has a seperate listing at the AEVP, but shares the same phone number with Forrester & Co...
