94 Warres LBV

After drinking a lackluster glass of the 2000 Berrys Bridge, I was desperate for a tasty port. So I cracked open this baby and was glad I did. Flavors of raisin and plums were present although the nose was more muted than previous bottles that I had. All in all a great spur of the moment wine on a pleasent summers evening. 92 points

Thanks Steve. This and the 1992 LBV by Warre's were both really enjoyable LBVs and in the Unfiltered style, which is rare for a British producer. Of course there are other exceptions like Smith Woodhouse too.

Yes, absolutely superb - gone through cases of the 92 and 94.
The Warres 95 LBV is sitting in front of me - I'll open it soon and report back
