Now that's an idea I won't say no to!

Re: Did Taylor declare in both 1934 and 1935?

I have made some progress in solving this mystery: The bottle in question is in fact a 1934 Taylor Colheita, bottled in 1976 or 1977. This has been confirmed by inspection of the bottle and preliminary correspondence with Taylor Fladgate, who claim knowledge of only three Colheitas actually bottled...

Re: Do you believe this still to be a good time to be buying older vintages of Port?

I think about 2009 and there were a number of great prices for VP on the auction market. I was able to pick up a pair of '63 Grahams for $150 each, and now cannot find it near that price. Re: Great deal on VPs

I called and wanted to order a couple of the '94 Taylors and they were sold out, ended up buying some '70 Taylors to add to my collection. The prices are great. Saw someone trying to sell '94 Taylor on winecommune, say they bought the futures in 1993 and had the wine stored in a cool dry attic. Not ...

Re: Christmas Port

I am planning on a 1963 Grahams for Christmas Eve, just got two bottles at auction and cannot wait to open them.
