Belgium and neighbours: Noval LBV at Colruyt

Post by Bert VD »

i just saw that Colruyt supermarkets have Noval LBV again (2009) for 9,19€. i think that is a great price.
i'm ordering right now. the annoying thing is that you order online and you have to specify in which supermarket you will pick them up. so for Germans, Dutch, French.. living close to Belgium you'll have to cross the border :-)

they also have Noval Black for 8,63€, Pocas colheita 1994 for 23,33€ and Offley 2011 vintage for 50€.

1994 Pocas LBV is tied for the best LBV I've ever tasted. Grab one, forget the price. Trust me!

Don't know what normal LBV price is in Europe, but with the $ conversion, that's a silly good price on the Noval LBV

the normal price for most LBV's is between 13 and 20€ in my experience. so this is definitely a good price

this Noval is the filtered version so it won't really age in the bottle. but it's a lot harder to find the unfiltered LBV here.
