Quinta da Devesa 10 Year Old Tawny Port
Found today at a store for $20. Bottled in 2017. Very pale color that is more inline with a 20 yr old. Orange marmalade, toffee, caramel, hazelnut, and bright acidity on the palate. Rather complex and long palate for its class. That bright and complex body continues to the medium-long finish. Blind, I would peg this closer to a 20 yr old tawny. Fabulous tawny for the price and class. I bought two of three they had, should have bought them all. Well, at least someone else can have the last one and enjoy a remarkable 10 yr tawny. 91 points

I would just like to comment that it is nice to see reviews of 10 year old Tawny's and some LBV's in here too, which are more attainable pricewise for people still new to the port world (or where VPs are pretty expensive). I am going to go order this one and try it out, thank you!

Opened my 10 year old Devesa which is bottled in 2023 and my opinion is the same, it does taste more like a 20 year old Tawny! I smelled and tasted leather, oak/hazelnut, marmalade and caramel. It is very smooth and mellow on the palate and that is one of the main things that makes it feel more mature than a 10 year old in my opinion. A very good price/quality ratio, will buy more. They also have a 20 year old in the shop, I shall buy it and hope it is also more mature for its age, maybe get a close to 30 year old tawny for the price of 20 year old.
