Wow, a big powerful nose. The tannins and acidity are very well balanced. Great integration, very complex, and a long finish. This is tough to drink and should be one heck of a great VP some day. 95++ points

You should see this with proper decanting. It is beautiful today too. I love this Port and if I were your age (Andy) I would definitely look for a full case to put away!

Ohh trust me I already took care of that. That was the first thing I did when I got home from the trip in 2006. Very few knew how really good it was then (as word really hadn't gotten out yet) and was sold as soon as I tasted it. I was lucky and found it on the cheap then (around $44 bottle). I think it now sells for over $70+ a bottle.

Very nice price and you'll lack back at it as a great bargain when getting ready to assault the majority of the '03 Croft's you have left in OWC in about 20 years.
I'd wait another two years to try your next bottle though, as it can seem very closed unless you extend the decanting considerably today.
