Of people I know, Alan Gardner has done the most comparative tastings of different bottlings. In those, the Oporto bottling has usually fallen in the middle of a group of 6, with one UK bottling being a good standout and one being bad. The rest, all about the same. I've heard at least one other person give similar results, albeit with a smaller sample size. If you've heard of the bottler, it probably has just a good a chance as being good as any other major bottler.
