GREAT lineup so far folks. I am still waiting to hear from some of you, but I'll continue to do that privately by email. Blind flights are the best! That way, Glenn gets no label bias.

Do blind flights mean that the rest of us not able to be with you will have to wait until after July 30th to find out what you lucky people will be drinking
I so wish I could be there with you guys. Instead, I will be on holiday with the family in Spain, consoling myself with a bottle of Smith Woodhouse 1999 LBV. Think of me when you enjoy such a fine line up as you have organised.
And this makes me even more determined that once the children have left the nest then Elizabeth and I will visit Seattle to join in one of the anniversary parties...
Glenn gets the prize. Yes, I was kidding around with that lineup as I am sure Andy realized too. That is like the perfect Port storm in my opinion or pretty close.
Our lineup is quite a bit less ambitious, with the oldest VP from 1924. Several bottles from 1966 and lots of older Colheitas. Still will be great!
Alex, I have a guest room waiting for your visit to Seattle anytime you'd like to come join us. Have a great holiday too!

Wait a minute Roy. After I saw that lineup, I booked a plane ticket! It just wouldn't be right for you to disappoint me now

That's very naughty of you.
Hope you all have a really good time and have plenty of bottles which all show well.
I just had a phone call (no joke) with another FTLOP'er telling me the identical thing!
Why not come along anyway? We're going to have an amazing time, great lineup and we'll find you a place to stay if you'd like. Seriously.
Roy
Thanks Roy, I would definitely have signed up as soon as this gathering was announced, but long-standing family plans had to take priority this time around. Some day...
Tonight is part 1 of 2. We'll be doing a slew of classic Douro wines and a couple of Ports afterwards with a small group of past FTLOP Tour participants. Tomorrow night is the big shindig and all Port, all the time. Looking forward to seeing some very good friends and there are so many that we'll be missing that someday we hope can join us for one of these celebrations!
