On the Fortification tour,
at Vinologia, the San Leonardo 30 year old, Lamelas 40 year old white, and a Quinta dos Revolta over 40 year old. The Revolta is supposed to be closer to 60 years old, and it tastes like it. Superb stuff and one of the best Tawnys of indicated age that I've ever had.
At Noval, the over 40 year old Tawny and the 2007 Vintage. Wish I could afford the Nacional!
At Tedo a magnum of the 2007.

12 x 1985 Fonseca Vintage Port

I love this Port! One of my all time favorites. This has been on my list to buy more of and I'm happy to have more of this in the cellar. Of course the "Roy's Top 12 tasting" article in the latest newsletter helped remind me that I can't wait forever to buy this.

6 x 1980 Gould Campbell Vintage Port. I also hope that they are tainted! So far I've been lucky and have never had a corked one of these.

12 x 1980 Gould Campbell Vintage Port.

I couldn't resist and went back for more.

Also got the following:

1 x 1970 Graham's Vintage Port
1 x 1983 Graham's Vintage Port
1 x 1994 Quinta da Eira Velha (Martinez)

Now my budget is seriously broken.

Acquired a bottle of 1975 Poças Junior yesterday. I'm not sure about this bottle, the wine looks too transparent and has no crust at all, just some minor deposit.

We'll see, I plan to open this next year in a horizontal '75 tasting (which happens to be my birthyear ;-)).

Very nice array of wines! These will be very enjoyable over the years. I'm very curious about the LBVs. Let us know how they are holding up!
