I voted Warre's 1970 as it is the only one I have had and it was fabulous - was relieved to see that Fonseca 1927 was not on the list!!

EDIT: Just remembered that I had the Taylor's 63 at the November Offline - vote still goes to Warre's 1970 as I preferred it to the Taylor's

I voted Graham 1977 as I have heard a lot of conflicting reports from fantastic to dud. Which will it be?

I'm with Derek and voted the Warre 1970. I was only thinking yesterday that I should open one at the weekend to celebrate the birth of our new baby - 1970 was the year my wife was born. It would be interesting to compare notes.

I say Warre '70. That gives me the chance to say (again) it is an all-time favourite of mine and Roy to reply by saying it is rubbish (again). :twisted:

Starting on the Squires site a couple of years ago, we've done that a few times, so let's force Roy to re-taste it. I seem to recall that he said he'd written it off years ago and would try it out again one day and eat his words if need be! Come on, get drinking....and eating

i think the warres will be a beaut! had a bottle about 6 months ago., terrific!
as far as the 77 grahams, i've been disappointed with the couple i've tried, but i'm determined to find some value in this vintage as i've got 6 bottles left. too bads its not the 70 grahams, that one was drinking beautifully a year ago

Although I would enjoy hearing your opinion on the '77 Graham's (the last bottle of it I participated in drinking was great ... FINALLY!), but I had to choose another bottle.

I have a special memory for one of the many bottles of 1963 Taylor I have enjoyed over the years. On Thanksgiving day in 2002, I opened a bottle of this and had my almost 3 week old daughter suck a few slurps of this from my finger. She was a very happy baby, much to my wife's chagrin and my mother's protestations ... I ignored both! Taylor has grown up (almost 4 now) to REALLY enjoy Port. It was the 4th word she spoke.

Well, after a brief challenge from Graham early on, it's now neck and neck between Taylor and Warre.

Bottles have been selected and are now stood up in anticipation of the final outcome. Both English bottled, Taylor has very slight signs of seepage, but a level that's still well into the neck. Warre has no seepage but a chipped capsule and base of neck level.

Who will it be? If the poll is a dead heat, I will count the number of times they were mentioned in the posts..

you gotta take a flier on the 77 Grahams. especially now that roy is apparently in the bullish camp. i have 2 magums of this controversial alcoholic monster.
