1863 Taylor Single Harvest Port

Post by David Spriggs »

The 1863 Taylor Single Harvest Port appears to be released. I believe this is the same as the previous 1863 Krohn. There were rumors that this would be re-released under the Taylor brand, and this now appears to be so.
Only £2950.00 while they last!

Still the best wine I've ever had.
If only it were less expensive!

This is an amazing wine. I was lucky enough to taste it at the London launch. Unable to try anything for over an hour afterwards - that is what I call a finish! Three weeks later and the treacle and molasses aromas are still very powerful in the (unwashed) tasting glass. If I had a spare few thousands, I would buy as many as I could!

Unfortunately, the words "spare" and "few thousands" don't appear in the same sentence, just dream sequences. [shrug.gif]
Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com
