Grahams Finest Reserve 1970?
I recently had a delivery of what should have been 1970 Graham VP out of storage and amongst the bottles were one bottle of Taylor 1970 VP and 2 bottles of Grahams Finest Reserve 1970. I am happy about the Taylors but does anyone know what the "Finest Reserve" is? Is this VP under another name?
Justin,
Hi. If you go on Wine Searcher and put in Graham and 1970, you'll get a few options. If you try the Nicholl and Perks link for £85, you can see a picture of the bottle which has both statements on it.
Vintage Port Wine across the top, and Finest Reserve halfway down. So that bottle is VP, presumably yours is. I'd post a picture of it, but we're having a problem with a Blocked Synch at the moment. (Aren't we Stewart!)

Justin,
Going off my shacky brain this morning, IIRC what your describing was only a slogan that was on the label. Is there a crown above or below the words "Finest Reserve?"

Andy Velebil Good wine is a good familiar creature if it be well used. William Shakespeare http://www.fortheloveofport.com
