Curious & Ancient 20 years old (Delaforce)

Post by Leo K. »

Hello

This Tawny is for limited period of time, being sold at the Swedish State liquor store Systembolaget. How is it? Is it worth buying? I'm looking for tasting notes.

Kress,

It is a very good 20 year tawny and usually sells for around a 10 year tawny price here in the States.

Just becareful, as there seems to be a lot of it in stores where the bottling date was in 1997 (yes, 1997). That is now ten years old, so not the freshest anymore.

I just found a bottle of th Delaforce 10 yr this very day... Bought it and will be indulging into that baby tomorrow evening when my father and evil step mother come to town. He & I will get the Delaforce, her reserved port for the evening will be the Cruz Ruby! 8)
