Not sure if I should post a reply...

I tasted this at a Portuguese wine fair in March, but I can hardly read my own hand writing, and it's risky to give advice just like that. I seem to have found it promising and concluded that it needed a little time.

It was the first time I tasted wines from this producer, and I remember being pleasantly surprised by their wines in general, but a bit frustrated that most of the wines available for sale (in Norway) were other vintages (or even other cuvées) than the ones available for tasting. Still, I've bought some table wine (Cister da Ribeira 2004) and intend to buy some vintage port.

Paul, I tasted last week when the sales man was in town. I was really impressed,in fact the whole range was top-notch. Cheers Bob P.

I have enjoyed a number of their Douro wines and Ports.

In fact today I tried a pretty nice Ventozelo 2005 VP. Until I spend another day and a half with it though, no comment.

Actually, you won't get to read that TN, until it appears in the upcoming newsletter article on The 2005 VP Forecast, in about 3 weeks.
