Although unusual, these are not as rare as you might imagine and they do come onto the market from time to time. I saw a bottle of the 1834 Ferreira being offered for sale in June this year. However, that's not meant to diminish the value of the product in any way - these bottles are little insights into history. Can you post some photos of the bottle and its label?
Andy Velebil bought two bottles of the 1820 Ferreira in March this year, but I am not sure how much he paid for them.
I don't know where you are based in Portugal, but you could consider talking to Garrafeira Nacional in Lisbon to see whether they would be willing to make you an offer for this bottle.
