Rare Port & Madeira

Post by P Greenleaf »

Hi all,
I'm looking for some advice. I have four bottle of rare port which I am selling on behalf of my Mum. I am hoping to find out the best way to sell these?

I've put 2 bottles of Graham & Co (Vintage Port 1960, Magnum of Malvedos 1958) on 'Bid for Wine', but I'm not sure this is the best place to sell?:

There are 2 other much older bottles available:
Malmsey Lomelino 1887
Sercial Lomelino 1890

Both seem to be in very good condition, with painted stencil writing on the bottles (no paper label). They have been stored in dry conditions away from natural light. I've read about 'ullage' and the level of wine is at base of the neck. I believe both are vintage as they don't say 'solera' anywhere on the bottle, which I understand means they would not be vintage.

Any help/advice very greatly appreciated.
