Roy Himself
I had the opportunity to taste 2003 Ports with Roy recently and just wanted to say that the rigor and thoroughness of Roy's tasting regimen was something I have never seen before. We tasted six vintage ports twice in a six-hour period, and I couldn't stay for the remaining three re-tastings of the same six ports. The biggest surprise to me was how much each one changed even over a short time span - it was remarkable! Some improved and showed new things; others went quiet. The only thing that didn't work for me was that - unlike tasting table wines - I didn't need a beer afterwards! David Adair, 8/08/05
David is one of the Port content experts that I brought here to share his vast (decades) of Port experience and enthusiasm. He has a well tuned palate, not only towards Port but the wines of the world. He has been ITB for most of his adult life. I am proud to have him with us as one of the great Port minds of the Pacific Northwest. Welcome aboard David.

Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com
